ReNamer 5.30 is a program to massively rename files.
You can specify a rule or a bunch or rules to be applied over a single file or several files, or even entire folders.
When you specify a rule, you can tell the program if you want to insert some text as a prefix, or as a suffix, if you want to delete something, or remove certain text, replace a string with the specified text, replace extensions, strip something, change the case of a part of the name of the file, serialize the names, cleanup the file names, translit it, replace expressions, add a Pascal Script, or specify totally new file names by entering them one by one.
Then, you must drag the files you wish to rename and drop them in the box marked with the sign "Drag Your Files Here".
Once you´ve done it, the program will show you how will the names look once the rules are applied. If you´re not satisfied with the results, you can keep adding rules till you get exactly what you want. Then, pressing the "Rename" button, ReNamer will change everything you stated on the chosen files. |
